Extremely disappointed by the magistrate’s rejection of Julian Assange’s application to be allowed to sit next to his lawyers in the courtroom while evidence is given in May. It’s disproportionate and dehumanising to hold him in a glass box at the back of the room. #FreeAssange

Julian Assange’s hearing at Woolwich Crown Court has finished for the week.

What’s next:

25 March: Westminster Magistrates’ Court (call-in by video)
7 April: hearing at Woolwich (case management & anonymity issue of 2 witnesses)
18 May-5 June: evidence (Woolwich)
